PONTOS CHRONOGRAPH 43 mm

The new PONTOS Chronograph is an extremely refined composition that boasts a number of subtle improvements.

The model's eye-catcher is the modern dial with Arabic numerals. The hour and minute hands are partially openworked and coated with white Super-LumiNova, ensuring clear legibility even in poor lighting conditions. This luminous coating is also found on the central chronograph second hand.

With this watch, the Maurice Lacroix design team focused on optimizing legibility while accentuating its luxurious character. The minute markers are clearly visible on the flange. The sunburst pattern, a classic feature of the dial, prominently adorns the model in black or gunmetal gray. The 12-hour chronograph counter features a window and a color-coordinated date display at 6 o'clock.

A transparent caseback reveals the automatic caliber ML112. The movement is decorated with Geneva stripes and circular graining, while the rotor features vertical Geneva stripes and a sunburst finish.

Wearers can choose between a timeless three-row stainless steel bracelet or a black leather strap. The latter features the M logo, a detail that underscores the timepiece's popular character. In keeping with the popular AIKON collection, the new PONTOS Chronograph 43mm is equipped with the strap interchange system, allowing for easy and user-friendly strap swapping without the need for tools.

The packaging of the new PONTOS Chronograph 43 mm is another hallmark of Maurice Lacroix's proactive and contemporary interpretation of watchmaking. Following the successful launch of the AIKON #tide collection, a range of models made from upcycled marine waste, the brand will now ship all its watches in packaging made from #tide Ocean Material®. Thirty-four bottles fished from the ocean are used to create each watch box. Each box can store a second strap. It also features a QR code linked to a digital instruction manual, eliminating the need for paper manuals and thus preserving the environment.
