Maurice Lacroix presents a reinterpretation of its popular PONTOS model. Featuring a chronograph, day of the week, and date display, the PONTOS S Chronograph boasts sophisticated details and a scratch-resistant ceramic bezel. It bridges the seemingly disparate worlds of elegance and sport, uniting them in a harmonious design for every occasion.

The PONTOS S Chronograph features a sandblasted dial available in two colors: silver-white and dark blue. The hour and minute hands are partially openworked and filled with Super-LumiNova®. Faceted and applied indexes indicate the hours and illuminate brightly even in the dimmest light. A rectangle with SLN, located between each index and the minute marker, improves legibility in low-light conditions. The markers themselves feature a combination of clear, clean lines and red Arabic numerals.

At first glance, the dial appears to have only two counters arranged along a north-south axis. A closer look, however, reveals that the watch also features an attractive small seconds display at 9 o'clock, as well as the day and date at 3 o'clock. Somewhat more prominent are the 30-minute counter at 12 o'clock and the 12-hour counter below, each featuring sandblasted centers and swirled bands. The Maurice Lacroix design team has enriched the composition with numerous facets by presenting the dial components on different levels and cleverly using color.

The scratch-resistant ceramic bezel features a tachymeter, a function that allows the wearer to determine the speed of an object over a known distance. This underlines the sporty character of the watch while also giving it a classic retro look.

Maurice Lacroix has retained some design elements from its predecessors, such as the elongated pushers and the distinctive double-stepped lugs. The case features a contrast between satin-brushed and polished surfaces, demonstrating the Maison's remarkable sense of style. The watch's sapphire crystal case back also offers a glimpse of the automatic caliber ML112. This movement is adorned with a combination of Côtes de Genève, perlage, and sunburst, living up to the brand's reputation for offering its customers excellent value.

The model features a color-coordinated nylon strap with the M logo and tone-on-tone stitching, lined with luxurious nubuck leather. The PONTOS S Chronograph is also available with a three-row stainless steel bracelet. Thanks to the easy-change strap system, the wearer can easily swap out their watch strap without the need for additional tools.
